This presentation aims to educate children about Ramadan. The slides are colourful, engaging and informative.

Why do Muslims fast in Ramadan?

Muslims fast because Allah tells us to. Fasting is a way to show Allah we love Him. Allah says that fasting is just for him and he will reward us for the sacrifice we make. Fasting also helps us to be grateful for what we have and to think about those who don’t have as much as us.

What are the benefits of fasting?

Fasting helps our bodies and minds stay healthy. It teaches us to be patient. Fasting bring us closer to Allah as we fast just for Him. It also increases our faith. Fasting is also a shield which will protect us from the hellfire. Can you think of any other benefits?

Iftaar is the evening meal we eat to break our fast. It is eaten when the sun has set and when Maghrib has started. We should not overeat at Iftaar as this goes against the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Do you know the sunnahs of eating?

The Quran

Ramadan is a month in which people read more Quran. When we read the Quran, we are reading Allah’s words. Understanding the Quran is also important as it will help us become better Muslims and better people.
